Larry,

That's great. I checked my log and I worked 9V1YC on April 17th. I sent him a QSL card in late June and he responded in short order so I can tell you that he does QSL. He apparently does not do LoTW as I have not received a confirmation by that route yet.

On this last day of 2011 I am at 237 countries confirmed and 4 bands DXCC - I'm still working on 80M. This has been a very good DX year for me since getting my first tower and good antennas in over 40 years as a ham. I hope to add 160 meters in 2012. W3MC is out back right now working on the 160 meter antenna project.

Happy New Year everyone.

Rick

(testing the reflector)

Finally worked 9V1YC Friday on 20 CW. I've been chasing after him for years and years.

He's been showing up the past three days at about 2300 or so UTC around 14.025.

I caught him just as he started CQing. The old fashioned way of checking for his operating pattern and being there waiting.

James and I tried both long and short path. SP was better. Don't know if LP was even open, could be we were both working each other off the backs of our beams.

9V is CW DXCC #329 for me.

73,

Larry N4VA
