[NCDXA] December Annual Meeting

Hello NCDXA Members.

 

Mark your calendars, the December meeting will be held at the home of
Marlene Hammond, KB4FAS on the 13th of December. We will follow our standard
agenda: refreshments and eyeball QSOs from 4:00 - 5:00 PM, Meeting 5:00 -
6:00 and Dinner following the meeting for those who wish to stay and enjoy
her wonderful hospitality. If you are staying for dinner, please bring a
side dish, salad or desert and most importantly let Marlene know in advance
what you plan to contribute. It takes more than a $5.00 contribution to make
the dinner special.

 

As announced previously, we were not able to find a venue for the October
meeting so it was deferred to December. Our by-laws call for the election of
new officers at the Annual Meeting and the current officers request you
consider serving the club and your fellow members next year as either
president, vice president, secretary or treasurer. We need new officers to
re-invigorate the club.

 

Directions to Marlene's home will be included in the reminder that will be
sent at the beginning of December. Please consider and indicate your
willingness to serve as an officer to either myself of our current
President, Rich Murphy, k1mu at arrl.net <mailto:k1mu at arrl.net> .
