[NCDXA] Conversation With K3LP at Visalia DX Convention

Hi Rick Murphy:
Your commitment and efforts for the club over the years have been second to none!
Thank you so very much. I'll need some of your assistance to make this transition.
The NCDXA has a long standing history and represents many high profile hams in our community. It would be purely selfish as a group if we let the efforts of those in the past who were committed to NCDXA go in vain. The NCDXA is a great club - we just need a spark to bring it alive.
I'll find a location and date for the next club meeting so we can identify and vote in new officers.

  BTW he is working with a school in his old hometown in California to get the kids there into ham radio and brought about eight nine-year-olds and their teacher, all of them licensed hams now, to the convention where they received a standing ovation from the people attending the convention banquet.  The youngest of the group, a girl no less, received the banquet prize, an FT-817.  Great way to start her ham career.
 
  David never runs out of steam, always busy with something...

 I thought making Dave president was a done deal.  The only officer left is Rick Murphy and he should give Dave the go ahead and do what has to be done.
