[NCDXA] Minutes of NCDXA August 24 Meeting

Fellow members of NCDXA.

The following are the minutes of our meeting of August 24, 2019:



           MINUTES OF THE AUGUST 24, 2019 MEETING OF THE  NATIONAL CAPITOL
DX ASSOCIATION



Given that the meeting was a joint meeting between the Potomac Valley Radio
Club (PVRC) and the National Capitol DX Association (NCDXA),

the regular business meeting was cut short.  PVRC President K3AJ and NCDXA
President K3ZO gave brief introductory

remarks and then the meeting was turned over to ARRL Atlantic Division
Director Tom Abernethy, W3TOM who provided an extensive review of the July
2019 meeting of the Board of Directors of the ARRL and an overview of ARRL
affairs in general, followed by questions from

those in attendance.

Special guests included IARU Secretary Dave Sumner, K1ZZ and his XYL Linda

the event.



The next meeting will take place Saturday, October 19 at the

QTH of Jim Locke, W3NRJ.  Details to follow.
