Please find herewith the minutes of the regular NCDXA meeting of June 16
and the special meeting of June 24.
My apologies for the delay in getting out the minutes.

The regular June 16, 2021 meeting of the National Capitol DX Association
(NCDXA) was held online using the video conferencing tool ZOOM.

The meeting was called to order at 7:13 PM EDST by President K3ZO. Those
present were asked to introduce themselves.


The minutes of the regular NCDXA meeting of April 14, 2021 had been
included in the printed agenda and were approved without change.


K4MV, having met the requirements of membership, was voted in as a member
of NCDXA and was asked to give a brief bio of himself.


Treasurer K3EW presented the treasurer's report. The NCDXA treasury account
stands as $4417.43 as of this meeting. K3EW reported that the membership
list had now been brought up to date.


In the absence of Vice President N4MM, K3ZO reported on ARRL news. He said
that by complete surprise he had received a box of chocolates in the mail
from new ARRL CEO NA2AA. K4MV also reported receiving a box of chocolates
and that they had “disappeared pretty fast.” According to a message
accompanying the box, chocolates were being sent to members of the Maxim
Society by the new CEO as a gesture of introduction, since due to the
Covid-19 restrictions the regular annual reception for ARRL donors was
unable to be held at the Dayton Hamvention this year.


As to DX news, members reported that T6AA in Afghanistan had been easily
workable in recent days, and that the planned upcoming Dxpedition to Bouvet
had been cancelled due to the sale of the boat which was to be used – the
Braveheart – to a new owner.


It was decided that the next regular meeting of NCDXA will be held on
August 18, 2021 via ZOOM.


There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:40 PM.

MEETING OF JUNE 24, 2021


A special meeting of the National Capitol DX Association (NCDXA) was called
on June 24, 2021 in order to vote on the applications for membership of two
applicants who had not been present at the regular meeting of June 16.
