The minutes of the previous meeting of February 24, 2022,
which were available on the online agenda, were approved
without additional comment.

Treasurer K3EW reported that at the end of March the
treasury held $5,321.58; at the time of this meeting,
it stood at $5,297.60. All but three members were
fully paid up.

Vice President N4MM reported that a station signing
EM8A3OB had been heard, apparently in violation of
the temporary prohibition of Ukraine on the air
activity due to the ongoing war.

He also reported that CQ Magazine had apparently
resumed the publication of the printed version of
the magazine.

President K3ZO noted that the new ARRL Virginia Section
Manager KE4LWT had invited the presidents of several ARRL
Affiliated clubs to attend an online meeting the
following evening April 29. The members present
authorized K3ZO to participate in the meeting
on NCDXA's behalf.

Others commented that the Florida QSO Party was
coming up and that all Florida counties would be
on the air.

Treasurer K3EW called attention to the FCC Notice
of Inquiry, ET Docket No. 22-137, dated March 31, 2022
which would study how receiver performance impacts the
efficient use of the radio spectrum.

K3EW also reported on the reactivation of the
Smithsonian Exhibit station NN3SI thanks to NN3RP
and others.

The formal meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM following
which informal discussion continued.

Respectfully submitted,

Fred Laun, K3ZO, Secretary (Acting)
