Hello NCDXA’ers,

I have previously reported on my newly-discovered digital activities.  A couple people said that they enjoyedreading them, so I am posting this report.

After being an analog holdout for many years, I went digitalon January 15, with many thanks to N3HU, for setting me up.

In the activity report below, all QSOs are confirmed onLoTW.

I worked DXCC and WAS in my first week, but it took threemore days to get WAZ because I had to help UB0Y in Kyzyl in Zone 23 get hisLoTW certificate and upload our QSO. Bart Jahnke helped with finalizing thecertificate.

I have confirmed 220 digital countries, some like 3C3CA, VU7W,and 5A1AL are ATNOs that I would not have worked otherwise.  I also added many countries to my band-countrylists, including 9N7AA, VP6A,  9Q1AA,9Q1ZZ, 4W6RU, and KH8RRC.

6 Meters.  I have 30countries confirmed on 6, with an odd assortment.  I have SV9, OX, FP, and EA6, but I’m missingG, ON, and PA and a few other :easy” ones.

I have 8-band digital WAS, having confirmed no. 400 a fewminutes ago when I had a QSO with CT on 12 meters confirmed.   Other states that I got near the end were VTon 10 and WY on 12.

On WAZ, digital, I have the five bands in 10-20 confirmed.   30, 40, and 80 are more challenging.

Overall, it’s been a great deal of fun.  To other analog holdout, I say give it up, andgo digital.
