To all,

1) Secretary- Our present secretary has asked to be relieved of duty due
to personal reasons. We thank Ulis K3LU for stepping in and running with
the ball for these last months. The main duty of the secretary is to create
minutes of our every other month meeting and publish it after director
review. This is most important to keep all of the membership up to date
with NCDXA events and operations. Please consider volunteering for the job
, even for a year or so. The time required for the job is not great.

2) K3ZO QSO Manager. This is a new position for handling log submission
and QSLing for the K3ZO operations. We will conspicuously list the QSO
manager information on the NCDXA Webpage. The expected operation would be
as follows:

- NCDXA now owns the callsign K3ZO. We hope some folks step forward to
request to use the memorial callsign in the upcoming NAQP's in January, and
for the upco, oinmg the ARRL DX Contests in Feb and Mar
- Each of the operators who use K3ZO in a contest, need to send in their
log, in cabrillo format to the new K3ZO QSO manager. The manager would
submit the log to the proper place plus post results on 3830 showing who
the operator was for the logged contest.
- In addition, the QSO manager acting as the QSL Manager, would be
responsible for uploading the log to the LOTW. The QSL manager would handle
all of the requests for confirmation. The QSL manager would also have the
responsibility of answering any physical QSL's received directly and
through the Bureau.
- The QSO manager would work with the leadership to design a proper QSL for
K3ZO.

Please consider taking one or both jobs. Your association needs your help.

For Directors Howard Sherer, AE3T and Mark Scott , K4MV

Phil Barsky K3EW
Lead Director NCDXA.
