Guys, this the not the ham radio that I have spent untold enjoyable hours pursuing in my lifetime. The CW segments are practically empty except during CW contests. DXPeditions are mostly FT8. I think it is time to look at that book list that I have always wanted to read and get started. I will make my XYL happy by down sizing my ham radio hobby equipment, parts and pieces.

Sounds to me like the kind of guy who makes his Martinus with Sloe Gin, who knows the price of everything but the value of nothing. Why bother? Vic W4VIC

Hello DXers,
I was trying to work V47JA over the past few days without any success. I noticed that he worked mostly EUs, so I sent him a message.
His response is below.
Your thoughts?

Hi,
I sit here and watch TV, and let the WSJT-X select who I work. When the "LOG" it screen pops up I press "OK", then I press "Enable Tx", whomever the program selects it answers. I occasionally look at the screen to see if any of the FULL SCREEN of stations calling are familiar calls or friends, and then I will manually select them. I am sorry if WSJT-X did not select you in the PILEUP.....

JOHN V47JA
