[NCDXA] NCDXA Secretary Position and Election Results

To all members,

I am sorry to report that Brian Treadwell, our first NCDXA-C Secretary, has
resigned from the subject position effective at the end of the Annual
meeting last evening. Brian has done an erstwhile job for the Organization
during his tenure. He has provided advice and counsel to me on various
matters pertaining to the business of running NCDXA-C. Please join me as I
congratulate Brian on a job very well done and wish him well. Brian has
cited personal reasons for his withdrawing from the position.

I want to Introduce our new Secretary , Ulis Fleming, K3LU. Ulis has agreed
to take on the position and I appreciate him doing so. Join me as I wish
Ulis all the very best in his new position in NCDXA-C.  Ulis is in sales in
the steel industry and has a very big signal on 10 through 20 meters with a
tribander at 70' and a Duobander at 50 feet for 12/17 meters and a full
legal limit amplifier on all bands.

As a result of the elections held during the Annual Meeting: Phil Barsky,
K3EW has been re-elected as Lead Director for the next year and Mark Scott,
K4MV, has been elected to fill the director's slot vacated by Ed Kuebert,
K5EK.  I thank Ed for his sage advice and counsel and for his work creating
the bylaws and assisting in the running of the organization . Please join
me in congratulating Ed on a very well done job.

Join me in congratulating Mark on his new position and I look forward to
his advice and counsel and contributions to the organization, moving
forward.
