<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:large">Fellow members of NCDXA:</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:large"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:large">Here are the Minutes of the regular meeting of</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:large">NCDXA of June 16, 2022.  I apologize for the delay in</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:large">getting these minutes out.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:large"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:large">---------------------------------</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:large"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:large">MINUTES OF NCDXA REGULAR MEETING OF JUNE 16, 2022<br><br>The National Capitol DX Association (NCDXA) held its regular June meeting online<br>on June 16, 2022 utilizing the ZOOM application.<br><br>President Fred Laun, K3ZO called the meeting to order at 7:02 P. M. EDST.<br><br>The following members were in attendance:<br><br>Bud Governale, W3LL<br>Phil Barsky, K3EW<br>Everett Bollin, WA3DVO<br>Ron Rubin, K3RON<br>Fred Matos, W3ICM<br>Ed Kuebert, K5EK<br>Howard Sherer, AE3T<br>Fred Laun, K3ZO<br><br>In addition, the following DXers were present:<br><br>Steve Fook, K2EJ<br>Joe Matt, W3AG<br><br>The minutes of the regular NCDXA meeting of April 28, 2022 had been included in<br>the June 16 meeting announcement and were approved without change.<br><br>K2EJ had applied for membership and was asked to introduce himself and tell the<br>members about himself. He was approved for membership unanimously by those<br>members present.<br><br>Treasurer K3EW reported that the treasury stood at $5273.63 as of the end of<br>May.<br><br>President K3ZO reported that some members had met new ARRL CEO NA2AA at the<br>Dayton Hamvention and were complimentary.<br><br>W3LL reported on good six meter DX conditions.  He had been able to work BA4TB.<br><br>W3AG introduced himself.  He had recently moved to Frederick from the Pittsburgh<br>area.<br><br>K3EW was having trouble with Montgomery County bureaucrats in connection with<br>his application for a tower permit and had called their attention to the FCC's<br>PRB-1.<br><br>Various members commented on the availability of rare DXCC entity Macquarie<br>Island on the DX bands thanks to VKØMQ.<br><br>The next meeting of NCDXA will be FOWLFEST 2022 which will be held on August 27,<br>2022, in the Bobwhite Pavilion at Seneca Creek State Park in Gaithersburg, MD.<br>11:30 am to 3:00 pm.<br><br>There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:24 P.M. and the<br>floor was thrown open for general discussion.<br><br>Respectfully  submitted,<br><br>Fred Laun, K3ZO,  Secretary (Acting)<br><br><br><br><br><br></div></div>
