Understand about getting an initial QSL for each country.  I too enjoy receiving QSLs, but they sure are an expensive and sometimes very time consuming.  LoTW definitely solves the delay and expense issues.

Thanks very much for the info on 9V1YC.

 

I've already sent James via his stateside manager as I enjoy having an actual SSB and CW QSL card from each DXCC entity in my collection.  I don't have a whole lot more to collect, so the cost is minimal.  

 

Nothing against LOTW, but "Long Live REAL QSLs."  Long live "bureau QSLing," too.
