I'm relaying here a post to the PVRC Reflector by our VP John, N4MM.

just got a call from N2ZZ, The Roanoke Division ARRL Director telling me
that Dennis, W4PWF became a SK this AM.  Dennis was Roanoke Division
Director when I moved up to ARRL VP years ago

Dennis had hoped to make the meeting at Frank's but at the last minute
e-mailed that health problems would keep him away.  I guess we didn't
realize how serious it was.

And to think that only a few years ago Dennis was running all over high
school fields as a football referee.   You never know...

Another valued colleague's cheerful voice will no longer be heard at our
meetings.
