(Sorry I hit the send button before I was finished).

Fellow NCDXA members:

This is to let you all know that the June meeting of the National Capitol
DX Association will take place in conjunction with the annual open house
hosted by Frank Donovan, W3LPL, as it has for the past several years,
thanks to Frank's and Phyllis's exceptional hospitality.

The open house begins at around 12 noon and lasts until around 4 PM,
Saturday, June 15. This is a family-type event so spouses, significant
others and kids are all welcome. Our formal meeting will take place
somewhere between 1 and 3 PM, in coordination with PVRC, which will also be
having a meeting there. In recent years our meeting has taken place on the
north side of Frank's driveway under the trees at that location.

Please bring a lawn chair along for each person in your party. Chips,
bottled water, soft drinks and beer will be provided. The lunch wagon of a
local restaurant will be on site and you can purchase a barbecue-type lunch
there.

Please park in the areas designated by the yellow ribbons.

The W3LPL antenna farm is located at 3055 Hobbs Rd in Glenwood, MD. If
coming west from Baltimore or east from Frederick on I-70, take Maryland
Route 97 south and turn left on McKendree Road, then right on Hobbs Road.
When you arrive at what looks like the tower array of an AM broadcast
station you are at W3LPL.

If coming north on Maryland 97 take a right on Burntwoods Road and a left
on Hobbs Road.

>From DC or Virginia or Southern Maryland, most people find that the fastest
way is to take I-495 to I-95 northbound, west on Maryland Highway 32 to
Burntwoods Road, then on Burntwoods to a right on Hobbs Road. By now most
of you have a GPS so you don't need these directions anyway.

Looking forward to seeing you all there.

73, Fred Laun, K3ZO
President and Acting Secretary
