[NCDXA] Update

Fellow members of NCDXA:

In a normal year, tomorrow we would be enjoying ourselves at the annual
open house of Frank Donovan, W3LPL, which for several years has been the
site of NCDXA's June meeting.  But due to the Covid-19 pandemic and social
restrictions put into effect by the Governor of Maryland, Frank has had to
postpone that gathering this year.

The normal NCDXA meeting after that would be August's Fowlfest, which has
long been an annual joint meeting of NCDXA and PVRC.  But again, due to the
uncertainties brought about by the pandemic, after consultation with PVRC
President K3AJ and myself, the Fowlfest organizer, our treasurer Phil
Barsky, K3EW has cancelled that event.

As to any future plans for meetings, I have nothing further to report at
this time.   When I do have any further info I will use this venue to
report it.

At least we are fortunate to be able to participate in our chosen hobby in
the way we normally do, by staying home and working DX from our respective
radio shacks.  Of course the number of DXpeditions have been drastically
reduced also given the worldwide pandemic, but at least the stay-at-home
requirements have kept many DX stations in their shacks where we can work
them.
