Fellow members of NCDXA:

Here are the Minutes of the regular meeting of
NCDXA of June 16, 2022.  I apologize for the delay in
getting these minutes out.

MINUTES OF NCDXA REGULAR MEETING OF JUNE 16, 2022

The National Capitol DX Association (NCDXA) held its regular June meeting
online
on June 16, 2022 utilizing the ZOOM application.

President Fred Laun, K3ZO called the meeting to order at 7:02 P. M. EDST.

The following members were in attendance:

Bud Governale, W3LL
Phil Barsky, K3EW
Everett Bollin, WA3DVO
Ron Rubin, K3RON
Fred Matos, W3ICM
Ed Kuebert, K5EK
Howard Sherer, AE3T
Fred Laun, K3ZO

In addition, the following DXers were present:

Steve Fook, K2EJ
Joe Matt, W3AG

The minutes of the regular NCDXA meeting of April 28, 2022 had been
included in
the June 16 meeting announcement and were approved without change.

K2EJ had applied for membership and was asked to introduce himself and tell
the
members about himself. He was approved for membership unanimously by those
members present.

Treasurer K3EW reported that the treasury stood at $5273.63 as of the end of
May.

President K3ZO reported that some members had met new ARRL CEO NA2AA at the
Dayton Hamvention and were complimentary.

W3LL reported on good six meter DX conditions.  He had been able to work
BA4TB.

W3AG introduced himself.  He had recently moved to Frederick from the
Pittsburgh
area.

K3EW was having trouble with Montgomery County bureaucrats in connection
with
his application for a tower permit and had called their attention to the
FCC's
PRB-1.

Various members commented on the availability of rare DXCC entity Macquarie
Island on the DX bands thanks to VKØMQ.

The next meeting of NCDXA will be FOWLFEST 2022 which will be held on
August 27,
2022, in the Bobwhite Pavilion at Seneca Creek State Park in Gaithersburg,
MD.
11:30 am to 3:00 pm.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:24 P.M. and
the
floor was thrown open for general discussion.
